Privacy policy

Last updated: 5 September 2026.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, password hash), workspace membership, project strings and translations, usage meters, optional provider keys you store for bring-your-own AI, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

To provide signup, sessions, sync, review, webhooks, support and the machine-translation features you turn on. We do not sell personal data.

AI providers

If you use managed AI, source text for a run is sent to our configured model provider to produce suggestions. If you use your own key, text is sent to the provider you chose. We store suggestions and metering metadata in your workspace.

Sharing

We use infrastructure and email providers to host and operate the product. They process data only on our instructions. We disclose information when required by law.

Retention

We keep account and project data while your workspace exists. You can ask us to delete a workspace or account; some logs may remain for a limited time for security and abuse prevention.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data. Contact support@stringtide.com and we will respond.
